18-Oct-2026.
Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), was arrested near his residence for violating a peace bond before a planned Lehra Do Tiranga protest at Connaught Place, Delhi.
Released on conditional bail after signing a new peace bond, Dipke faces fresh preventive charges under the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita.
The arrests happened amid widespread protests against alleged electoral irregularities involving the Election Commission.
Activists, including AISA president Neha Bora, were detained and later released, with police citing law and order concerns.
