Actor Richard Gere attends Dalai Lama's 90th birthday

Actor Richard Gere shared a heartfelt moment with the 14th Dalai Lama during his 90th birthday celebrations at Dharamshala on July 6. In one of the videos from the event, Gere, who is also a practising Buddhist, is seen receiving blessings from the Tibetan spiritual leader.

In a video shared by ANI, the Hollywood star was seen kissing the Dalai Lama's hand while bowing down to him in reverence. The spiritual leader then blessed him by placing his hand on his forehead as the duo embraced and smiled at each other.
