Putin emphasized Russia’s military advances and desire for a political solution including control over Donbas, while Zelenskiy rejected this and highlighted ongoing conflict. 

Trump reaffirmed readiness for rapid peace efforts, with US envoys continuing diplomacy amid stalled US focus on Iran. Both Zelenskiy and Trump saw prospects for ending the war and agreed to continue talks at the upcoming NATO summit.
