Only AC government buses in Tamil Nadu from now, CM Vijay says: Transport Minister

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has announced that the state will procure only air-conditioned buses to enhance public comfort. Transport Minister Vijay Tamilan Parthiban conveyed that the goal is to connect remote regions through a modernized, well-equipped bus network. 

Recently, Vijay flagged off 300 new buses costing Rs 127.21 crore, including diesel and BS-VI compliant CNG vehicles, deployed to key transit hubs to improve connectivity and reduce commuter wait times, reflecting the ruling party's commitment to upgrading public transport.
