ITAK MP Sritharan Meets Tamil Nadu BJP President Nainar Nagendran

Illankai Tamil Arasu Kachchi (ITAK) Jaffna District MP Sivagnanam Sritharan, who is currently on a visit to India, met Tamil Nadu BJP President Nainar Nagendran for discussions.
The meeting focused extensively on the contemporary political and livelihood challenges faced by Tamils in Sri Lanka.
Particular attention was paid to allegations concerning the demolition of ancestral Hindu temples and the construction of Buddhist viharas at those sites, as well as the skeletal remains currently being unearthed at the Chemmani mass grave site.
The two sides also discussed issues relating to securing justice for atrocities committed against the Tamil people.
Views were exchanged on a permanent political solution for Eelam Tamils and the political aspirations of the Tamil community.
Both parties agreed on the importance of continuing such consultations and engagements.
Veteran Tamil political figure K.S. Radhakrishnan, who has over five decades of experience in Tamil political affairs, along with Tamil Nadu BJP State Secretary and several senior party officials, also participated in the meeting.
