Shah Rukh Khan Cancels Visit to Sri Lanka

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan, popularly known as the “Bollywood King Khan,” was originally scheduled to participate in the grand opening of City of Dreams Sri Lanka, South Asia’s first integrated resort. 

His participation was planned as a key highlight of the event. However, it has been officially announced that, unfortunately, due to unforeseen personal reasons, Shah Rukh Khan will not be able to attend the event.

A spokesperson for City of Dreams Sri Lanka commented on the matter, saying, “We understand that many of you were eagerly awaiting Khan’s arrival, and we truly feel the disappointment his absence might cause. We remain deeply grateful for his support and goodwill and look forward to welcoming him to City of Dreams Sri Lanka in the future.”

Despite the cancellation of Shah Rukh Khan’s visit, the opening ceremony of City of Dreams Sri Lanka will proceed as a grand celebration as originally planned. 

Talented artists selected from both local and international circles will be participating. Details about these performers will be released in the coming days. 

“We are committed to making this event a significant milestone in establishing Sri Lanka as a globally recognized destination for world-class entertainment,” the spokesperson added.
