A Delhi court granted bail to conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar in a money laundering case linked to a 2017 AIADMK election symbol bribery scandal, citing his prolonged detention without trial. 

Despite serious allegations involving bribery and fund laundering, and 31 other pending cases, the court emphasized personal liberty and mandated bail with strict conditions. Chandrasekhar remains jailed due to other charges, highlighting judicial balance between individual rights and legal process delays in economic offence cases.
