At 13, China's Yu Zidi became the youngest Asian Games swimming champion by winning the women's 200m butterfly with a new Games record of 2:05.08, surpassing the previous mark by nearly half a second. 

Having already won a World Championships bronze at 12, Yu is rapidly rising as a swimming sensation as China dominates Asian swimming. Her goal is Olympic gold at LA 2028, reflecting her ambition and dedication despite her youth and recent breakthrough.
