Rs 2,000 for women, pension hike, free electricity: DMK's Tamil Nadu poll manifest

Tamil Nadu CM M K Stalin released the DMK election manifesto focusing on welfare expansion and economic growth. 

Key proposals include doubling monthly aid for women heads of families and elderly pensions, extending free breakfasts to Class 8 students, increasing health insurance coverage, constructing 10 lakh houses, and doubling dialysis units. 

The manifesto also promises free electricity, laptops for 35 lakh students, and attracting Rs 18 lakh crore investments to boost the economy. Stalin emphasized the party's fulfilled promises and desire for continued development.
