With efforts underway to restore roads damaged by the disaster for public use, the arrival of large numbers of volunteers bringing aid has disrupted reconstruction and cleaning activities, according to Police Media Spokesman ASP F. U. Wodler.

He said this at a media briefing held at the Police Media Division.

He added that volunteers across districts have been enthusiastically delivering relief to victims, and their dedication is appreciated.

However, many roads are damaged due to landslides and land slippage, and some have cracked. Reconstruction and cleaning work is ongoing. The arrival of many vehicles carrying relief supplies has obstructed efforts to restore normal traffic flow.

Additionally, some individuals are visiting affected areas on motorcycles and other vehicles to film and observe the damage. Considering the current state of emergency, all citizens have a responsibility to cooperate. We urge people to act with that awareness.
