Tamil Nadu woman stabbed to death by husband in hospital bed

A 27-year-old woman undergoing treatment at a government hospital after being injured in an argument with her husband in Tamil Nadu's Karur district was stabbed to death by him on July 20.

Shruthi was married to Vishruth from Pattavarthi and had two children. She was admitted to a government hospital after reportedly sustaining injuries following an argument with Vishruth on Saturday.

In the morning on the day of incident, Vishrut entered the hospital, stabbed Shruti -- who was in an unconscious state at that time -- three times and escaped, killing her. Kulithalai Police have registered a case and are on the lookout for Vishrut.
