Pak police assault journalists at Islamabad press club

Pakistani police stormed the National Press Club in Islamabad and assaulted journalists and protesters who were agitating against the atrocities and the ongoing internet blackout in violence-hit Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir. 

As the development triggered widespread outrage across Pakistan, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi ordered a probe into the incident.

Visuals showed police assaulting journalists with batons and destroying media equipment at the press club, located in the heart of Pakistan's capital.
