Opposition Leader meets Bangladeshi High Commissioner

To secure relief for people affected by natural disasters, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa met the Bangladeshi High Commissioner.

Premadasa met High Commissioner Andalib Elias at the Opposition Leader’s Office in Colombo on Dec 11 regarding relief for victims of Cyclone Ditwah.

He thanked Bangladesh for consistently supporting Sri Lanka through difficult periods and emphasized strengthening long-standing ties between the two countries.

Premadasa also requested Bangladesh’s support in helping Sri Lanka rebuild during this critical time.
