Opposition Exists Outside Parliament Too, Says President

President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated in Parliament that opposition forces exist not only within Parliament but also outside it, during an exchange with MP Mano Ganesan.

The President remarked that while some opposition members accuse the government of not aligning with the US, others claim it is not aligned with Russia.

Responding, Mano Ganesan clarified that a recent gathering he attended was not a political alliance but a public platform.

However, the President maintained that opposition voices operate both within and outside Parliament.
