KA Sengottaiyan likely to join Vijay's TVK

Former AIADMK strongman KA Sengottaiyan, who resigned as Tamil Nadu MLA on November 26 hours after he was expelled by the Edapaddi K Palaniswami-led party, is set to join actor-turned-politican Vijay's Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) today (November 27), sources told India Today.

The development comes with speculation already doing rounds that he might join TVK following his resignation as a legislator earlier in the day.

Sengottaiyan reached Chennai in the morning of November 26, where several rounds of discussions are reported to have taken place between his camp and the TVK leadership.
