Investigation Launched Against Three Former Chief Ministers for Corruption

It has been reported that an inquiry by Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption has begun against three former Chief Ministers. 

The individuals under investigation include former Sabaragamuwa Province Chief Minister Mahipal Herath, former Central Province Chief Minister Sarath Ekanayake, and former North Central Province Chief Minister Bessala Jayarathna.

The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption initiated these investigations based on allegations that these former Chief Ministers acquired income through illegal means.
