Chemmani Grave Evidence to Be Displayed for Public Identification

Evidence recovered from Chemmani mass graves will be displayed to help families of the disappeared identify them.
The CID's Homicide Division applied to the Jaffna Magistrate’s Court for permission.
The items will be displayed at the Ariyalai Chinthupathi Hindu Cremation Grounds on August 5, from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM.
Recovered items include a school bag, children's shoes, baby feeding bottles, bangles—54 in total.
Members of the public are encouraged to assist investigations by identifying the items. Attendance protocols will be announced.
