C.I.D. records statement from Vimal

As part of ongoing investigations related to the Easter Sunday attacks, former Minister Vimal Weerawansa gave testimony to the Criminal Investigation Department yesterday. 

On August 15, he visited the CID in the morning, and investigation officers recorded his statement for approximately three hours.

This testimony was given in connection with procedures initiated based on complaints submitted by three individuals, which were founded on his statements regarding the 2021 Easter Sunday attacks.
