2 boys killed after wall collapses due to heavy rain in Delhi's Vasant Vihar

Two boys were killed after a wall collapsed in southwest Delhi’s Vasant Vihar area in the afternoon on August 14 following heavy rain and waterlogging, police said.

According to Delhi Police, the incident took place at around 4.45 pm. The wall that collapsed belonged to the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).

The victims, aged 9 and 10, were the residents of Madhubani and Begusarai of Bihar, respectively. They were rescued from the debris and rushed to AIIMS Trauma Centre in PCR vans, where doctors declared them dead.
