An explosion at Qatar's Ras Laffan LNG complex, a key energy export hub, killed 13 and injured 66, including several Indians, during efforts to restart operations disrupted by earlier Iranian missile attacks.

The incident, caused by a technical accident at the Barzan gas supply facility, rattled Doha and highlights the ongoing challenges faced by Gulf energy producers restoring output after war-related damage. Despite the blast, Qatar's LNG exports remain unaffected, though repairs from prior missile strikes may take years.
