US delegation to visit India from June 1–4 to finalise interim trade pact

From June 1 to 4, a US team will visit India to finalize an interim trade agreement and advance a broader bilateral trade pact. 

Discussions will focus on market access, customs, non-tariff measures, investment promotion, and economic security. 

This follows prior talks, including an Indian delegation's visit to Washington in April 2026. The interim pact aims to promote mutual trade benefits, with both countries committed to continuing negotiations on a comprehensive India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement.
