Kidnapping, assault case on Tamil Actress Lakshmi Menon

In an incident of kidnapping and beating a young IT employee in Kochi Actress Lakshmi Menon has been named as accused by the Police following an argument at a bar on August 24 night.  

The actor also known for her work in Malayalam cinema, was allegedly in the car of the kidnappers. Visuals of Lakshmi along with few others blocking a car and arguing has gone viral. 

Three people have been arrested reportedly by the north police in connection with the incident. One of them is a friend of the actress. 

The argument took place at a bar on Banerjee Road. After that, the accused stopped the young IT employee who was returning in his car by stopping his car near the North Bridge. 

The case is that the young IT employee was then taken inside a car and taken to the Paravur area and beaten up. More details on the case are awaited.
