Renfrew County school board prepares to cut librarian jobs by half

Some Renfrew County students may get less time in their high school libraries this fall as the English public school board prepares to slash their number of librarians.

Seven positions at secondary schools in the Renfrew County District School Board (RCDSB) are being reduced to 3.5, according to the Elementary Teachers' Federation of Ontario local union.
