Motorcyclist killed after colliding with pickup truck

A motorcyclist is dead after colliding with a pickup truck in western Quebec, provincial police say.

The crash happened at around 6:30 p.m. August 2 on Highway 105 near Kazabazua, according to a news release from the Sûreté du Québec.

The northbound truck apparently made a left-hand turn and the southbound motorcycle couldn't avoid the impact. The motorcyclist, a man in his 60s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
