Who is Udayanga Weeratunga? asks Sagara Kariyawasam

He made these remarks when reporters questioned Kariyawasam referring to a statement made by Udayanga Weeratunga

Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) General Secretary Sagara Kariyawasam highlighted that former Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Russia Udayanga Weeratunga has nothing to do with the party and thus, his statements regarding the party are of no importance.

He made these remarks when reporters questioned Kariyawasam referring to a statement made by Udayanga Weeratunga where he had stated that the SLPP will nominate Dhammika Perera as its Presidential candidate and Namal Rajapaksa as Prime Minister.

However, Kariyawasam refused to comment on the statement made by Udayanga Weeratunga.
