Delhi High Court issues notice on Subramaniam Swamy's plea on Chinese incursions
In his petition before the Delhi HC, Swamy alleged inaction by the Central government in responding to his RTI query filed in November 2022.

The Delhi High Court (HC) on Oct 9 issued a notice to the Central government and the Central Information Commission (CIC) on a petition filed by BJP leader Subramanium Swamy that sought expeditious response to his Right To Information (RTI) application regarding Chinese encroachment on Indian territory.
In his petition before the Delhi HC, Swamy alleged inaction by the Central government in responding to his RTI query filed in November 2022.
In his petition, filed by lawyer Satya Sabharwal on behalf of Swamy, he stated that his RTI application kept being transferred between various departments even after the expiry of the timeline for receiving a reply to the RTI Application as per the RTI Act.
Swamy also said his RTI appeals were also not responded to, which he filed after not receiving an effective response to his application.
Taking it to X, Swamy said, "Today in Delhi High Court Justice S . Prasad issued notice to the Modi Government to answer my RTI question on whether or not Chinese troops have captured undisputed Indian territory in Ladakh since April 2020."
The matter will be heard next in January.
