New national convenor appointed for SLPP

MP D.V. Chanaka has been appointed as the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) new National Convenor.

The appointment was made during a meeting held yesterday (20) at the residence of former President Mahinda Rajapaksa in Wijerama.

Former MP Johnston Fernando has been tasked with overseeing the organization and appointment of new rural and divisional leaders within the party.
