Trade Unionist Ravikumudesh Suspended

Medical Laboratory Technologist Ravi Kumudesh has been suspended from service, effective October 10, 2024.

The Ministry of Health has stated that he will not be entitled to any salary or other allowances during the suspension period.

Furthermore, he is prohibited from traveling abroad until disciplinary proceedings are concluded.

This suspension comes as a result of Ravi Kumudesh contesting as a candidate in the 2024 general election, which is a violation of institutional regulations.
