China advises citizens to exercise caution while travelling to India, Pakistan

China has issued an advisory to its citizens.

According to the Global Times, the Chinese Embassies in both countries issued statements on their official WeChat accounts - a Chinese social media platform - in the afternoon on May 9.

The statement advised Chinese citizens to closely monitor the situation and exercise caution when travelling to India or Pakistan. 

The advisory also reminded those already in India or Pakistan to strengthen security precautions and enhance safety measures.
