Nearly 100 complaints of election law violations received thus far

All complaints received thus far are related to breaches of election laws, according to the commission.

The Election Commission in Sri Lanka says that a total of 99 complaints have been received as of 05.00 p.m. on Monday (Aug 05), pertaining to the 2024 Presidential Election.

The election regulatory body said that this includes 68 complaints received by the National Centre for Election Complaint Management and 31 complaints received by the District Centres for Election Complaint Management

All complaints received thus far are related to breaches of election laws, according to the commission.
