An Indian Coast Guard rescue team with the Indian Army, and Indian Air Force teams on Saturday saved three people stranded at Soochipara waterfalls.
The ICG search team, during their morning combing operation along the river banks from Mundakkai to Soochipara, saw three people stranded near waterfalls.
The control centre at Meppadi was immediately alerted about the presence of the survivors. After strenuous land and air coordinated efforts by the forces, all the three were rescued safe.
