Minor tremor reported east of Anuradhapura
17-Jul-2024Accordingly, the Seismic Monitoring Center of the bureau stated that that the minor tremor was recorded at around 5.12 p.m. approximately 41 km east from Anuradhapura.
A minor earth tremor with a magnitude of 2.7 on the Richter scale has been reported Tuesday evening (16) between Anuradhapura and Kantale, according to the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau.
Accordingly, the Seismic Monitoring Center of the bureau stated that that the minor tremor was recorded at around 5.12 p.m. approximately 41 km east from Anuradhapura.
