A portion of the 13-year-old bridge caved in Bihar's Kishanganj district on Wednesday, marking the fourth such incident in the state in just over a week.

The 70-meter-long bridge on a tributary of the Maria River at Bansbari Shravan Chowk could not withstand the pressure of the rain and collapsed. No one was injured in the incident.

In the video circulating on social media, one can see the middle portion of the bridge sagging and almost touching the fast-flowing river.

Three incidents of bridge collapse were reported last week from Siwan and Araria districts
