Karnataka Congress MP's key aides face Income Tax raids

The searches extended to the bungalow owned by former corporator Gangadhar, with officials examining documents.

Income Tax department officials on Wednesday (Apr 24) carried out raids on the residence of key associates of Congress's Bengaluru Rural candidate DK Suresh.

IT officials arrived in two cars at around 6 am and launched search operations at properties belonging to Congress block president Sridhar and former corporator Gangadhar, alongside their relative's residence in Konnakunte. The area falls in the Bengaluru Rural constituency.

The Income Tax officials continued the searches for over eight hours.
