Two men charged with second-degree murder

Two men have been charged with second-degree murder in connection to a homicide in Saint-Joseph-de-Madawaska, N.B.

RCMP said officers responded to an assault with a weapon around 11:45 p.m. on on May 31 at a business on 2nd Sault Road. When police arrived, they found a 29-year-old man outside suffering from significant injuries. Police said the man died at the scene.

Bruce Dufour, 37, and Tony Dufour, 36, have been charged with second-degree murder. Police said they remain in custody pending another court appearance Monday. Police said the investigation is ongoing.
