Man dead after midday shooting in Dartmouth

A man is dead following a shooting in Dartmouth on May 29.
 
Halifax Regional Police say they responded to a report of gunshots in the area of Highfield Park Drive and True North Crescent around noon AT. 

In a news release, police say they found a man in a vehicle with gunshot wounds. Police performed CPR on the victim, but the man was pronounced dead. The shooting is being treated as a homicide. The public is being asked to avoid the area as police investigate.
